How I work

FROM THE GROUND UP
01 · Start at the baseYour mission, your audience, your constraints. I learn what you’re really trying to move before recommending a single channel.
02 · Build the systemData, channels, budgets, and measurement, set up so every dollar can be traced to what it moved.
03 · Tell the storyThe right story, in the right format, for the right audience. That’s what moves people at scale.

ABOUT THE LOGO
山YAMA · MOUNTAIN
本MOTO · BASE, ORIGIN

My family name means the base of the mountain. The logo is built from it.

山
01Start with the character山 (yama) is three upright strokes standing on a base: a tall one in the middle, shorter ones on either side.
02Read it as a chartI redrew those strokes as three bars on a shared baseline. The same shape works as a mountain and as a bar chart, which is most of what I do: data that tells a story.
03Mark the resultThe middle bar is red. It stands for the one number worth pointing to, and every pattern on this site follows the same rule: one red peak.
